I have no clue what kind of tree - just know I want to join you under it! Beautiful!!!
I don't know either but it is beautiful! I need it in my front yard.
Not sure. Maybe a Basswood?
I haven't a clue what kind of tree it is, but I'd love to spend an afternoon sitting beneath it. Especially love that third photo.
Oh my goodness, GORGEOUS pictures as always! It's fabulous in color, but I bet it's also pretty darn cool in Black and White, too!
I am running a poll at :-http://money-from-photos.blogspot.com/2008/08/jpeg-or-raw.htmlSince you have a great photo blog, I would appreciate it if you could spare a minute to participate. Thanks!
I think that's a basswood tree
Ahhhh,. . . I can almost feel the breeze now!
Considering that a Linden (or Basswood) typically have a straight main trunk and this tree is broadly branched, has oval shaped leaves with smooth or slightly saw toothed edges, and has deeply fissured bark... I think it is an Elm.
