Mr. H and Rufus. I had forgotten to pack any toys for Rufus, so Mr. H took one of his socks and filled it with sand. It amazes me sometimes how the simplest things make the best toys. The $40 toy for your toddler is no match for the box it came in.
It was on this weekend that I realized that I was in love with the man who was to become my husband (although I didn't know about the husband part yet). I knew that this was something real, something special, and something that was going to last a very long time.

ReplyDeleteThat is AWESOME! I remember when I first realized I was in love with my husband. We were at a baseball game and I opened the door of his BRAND NEW car into another car denting it. He jumped out and left the car running and his doors locked. Locked doors, running car and dented door and instead of being mad, he kissed me while I tried to apologize.

ReplyDeleteOh my, you've commented on the same blogs that I have this morning. You've also had some of my exact same thoughts which is scary seeing as how we don't know eachother. Looking forward to seeing you some more on blogger. I love your post. I recall the exact moment I fell in love with my husband too. It was like I had been hit with a bat and my life put on fast forward. I couldn't shake a picture in my head of he together just like that day but 50 years from then. Who knows, maybe it was just because we were walking through an antique store at the time. Hahahahaha!
ReplyDeleteVery very sweet. Thanks for stopping by my blog.
