You must have a really amazing camera to be able to get that picture like it did! I have a Canon Rebel XT and there's no way I'd ever get one like that. I'd have light squiggles all through it. I agree with you, though. When you start looking at the world as a photo op, it's amazing the things you realize you've never actually seen before. My absolute favorite picture is one I took at a roadside market in South Carolina. I just thought, "hey, this is kind of cool" and clicked.
Some people think that having a blog and being online means you're missing out on living; like you, though, I find that carrying around my camera (which I only started doing because of the blog) makes me see *so* much more of what's going on around me. And then I take a photo and I can see it forever :)
Actually I just have a little cheapo point and shoot. But the beauty of digital is I can take 30 photographs of the same thing trying to get the shot I want and not have to worry about paying for film and processing on all those wasted shots. I think this one was number 13 of this particular shot.
Oh crap, I think I just spilled the secret to my pictures.

I have the same camera as Apple. Totally a step up from what I had but must be many steps down from what you have.

beautiful! (and i've been known to do the same thing to get some of my shots...)
Moon pics are difficult to take. That one is great!!!
I can never take good moon shots. sigh. Yours is beautiful!
Agree with you, Judy!
Everything looks more beautiful in a photo. I'm always amazed just how a different angle can make such a big difference.
Bautiful shot! :)
