It's part of the University Bridge, a drawbridge built in 1911. We walk across it a couple times a week.

Looking st the first photo, J said, "Hey, that's a rock monster!" (a character in the veggie pirates movie.) I told him what it was and he said, "You have GOT to be kidding!!" What a kid!
