In the middle of the dog days of summer it's easy to forget that autumn is not very far off. The heat has really been getting to me this past week, but these cute little apples reminded me that harvest time is on its way.
Harvest time, for many, is a time of intense work and great joy.
What are you working on right now?

Strawberries...

I am working on the getting the courage to tell my neighbors that I am not babysitting their kids nor taking them to and from school once school begins Aug 18th. Saying 'no' is really hard for me because I think I have 'doormat' tattooed on my forehead....LOL
The heat has been a bit much for me too.
And working on? These days it feels like, what I am NOT working on... but in a good way! ;)
What kind of apples are they? As much as I love the abundance the the dog days of summer bring, I am looking forward to fall.
Those photos are cool? On your property?
I am working on putting that last month of 1996 photos (yes!) into slip-in albums. I love scrapbooking, but my school work has been keeping me too busy to really do much of that lately. I FINALLY convinced myself that just slipping these older photos into albums would suffice for now. And I am really liking it.
Can't wait to see more of your fall pix.
Your photos are great! I am working on moving cross country to your neck of the woods, so that I can pick some of those apples! :)
What I'm working on . . . catching up with your blog! Not working on . . . dishes, laundry, vacuming, etc. Oh well.
